spoiled voice/self-seeking voice Explanation: The voice of someone who is used to being spoiled or pampered seeking to spoil or pamper herself. Probably said of a patient who is very demanding of trivial non life-threatening things. The reflexive form of the verb, which is very closely related to מפונק, emphasises the self-centred meaning. Any other translation suggested that conveys the same idea will be fine. |

pampered, self-indulgent voice Explanation: I was thinking of "self-indulgent voice" which would also be OK, but would have more of a negative edge to it. Both pampered or self-indulgent would be fine. Even translating it as "pampered, self-indulgent voice" would be good in my opinion. Here are examples of both terms being used: Pampered voice - https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&e... self-indulgent voice https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&e... |
