They lived frugally Explanation: First of all, it should be במשורה It means- in niggarly measure. See ezekiel 4 - 11. Thou shalt also drink water by measure, the sixth part of an hin. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 49 mins (2012-08-06 17:53:18 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- The second part of the sentence means that there was no dearth of poverty stricken people |
