bha'-jan Explanation: this Hindi word is a derivative of the Sanskrit word 'bha-ja-nam.' The Root for this word is 'bhaj.' According to M-W dictionary, the meanings given are 'reverence, adoration, worship,' etc. You first pronounce 'bha' and then 'jan.' Hence, I feel 'bha-jan' is an appropriate pronunciation, phonetically! |
