acid test of life


Explanation:
tested by touchstone is called the ultimate test of a valuable metal.Similarly,in common English, acid test is called for ultimate test. No need of scientific explanation, we just see whether the inner meaning of the languages are same.

  -> i just point out that "Kasauti" is an ultimate test to know whether the object (gold) is pure or not. it is not only simple test which means 'Pareeksha'. Kasauti is somehow greater than that
