Hungarian term or phrase: természetesvízi halászat
A természetes vízi halászat Magyarországon kb. 140.000 ha vízterületen folyik. A 8. Összességében a nemes halfajok fogásából a horgászok 60 % arányban részesültek, míg az értéküket tekintve kisebb jelentőségű „egyéb” halfajok zsákmánya zömében a kereskedelmi célú halászatnak jutott. A halászat térvesztését is mutatja, hogy egyes vízterületeinken pl. Duna) a horgászok és halászok nyilvántartott zsákmányának aránya 80:20. A sporthorgászok száma az utóbbi időszakban évről-évre növekszik, a MOHOSZ adatai szerint hazánkban 337 ezer engedéllyel rendelkező horgász 1065 horgászegyesületben tömörül.

The ocean is one of Earth's most valuable natural resources. .... Most commercial fishing takes place in these coastal waters, as well as estuaries and the slope ...

Fisheries Resources in Connecticut
Connecticut's aquatic resources are diverse and include marine, freshwater, anadromous, and catadromous fisheries. The Connecticut River supports popular striped bass, black bass, catfish, and shad fisheries. Smaller streams support both coldwater and warmwater fisheries. Warmwater and coolwater fish communities can be found in lakes and ponds throughout the state, and some coldwater fisheries exist. Long Island Sound supports important finfish and shellfish fisheries, both recreational and commercial.

Climate change
Fisheries and climate change
In the past, changing climate has affected inland and offshore fisheries and such changes are likely to continue.[23] From a fisheries perspective, the specific driving factors of climate change include rising water temperature

( Link 4.5. ) A tengerekből a folyók felső szakaszaira vonulnak szaporodni.

A litofil fajok (pl. balin, paduc, márna) a meder kövezésére, kavicságyra helyezik ikráikat.
