agree  Ildiko Santana: "Beating a dead horse" fejezi ki leginkább, hogy az ügyet nemcsak unalomig ismételték, hanem meg is oldották, így nincs értelme a további csócsálásnak. A többi válasz egyikében sincs benne ez a jelentéstartalom, márpedig a "lerágott csont" ezt jelenti.
