A Szabadság Kör 2009-óta ítéli oda a Jogtipró-díjat.

A kör tagjai évente tesznek javaslatot a Jogtipró-díj jelöltjeire, értékelve ezzel valamely intézmény, személy jelképes eseményhez köthető munkásságát.

A Jogtipró-díj nem csupán a demokrácia vagy az alapvető emberi és szabadságjogok semmibevételét jelképezi, „hanem egy életérzést, amit egy következmények nélküli országban élhetnek át az érintettek”.

Ha esetleg nincs idő az egészet átolvasni, bemásolok néhány példát hasonló díjakra az előbb ajánlott linkről. Hogy polgári vagy emberi vagy egyéb jogok tiprásáért jár-e, azt a fordításban is nyitva lehet hagyni szerintem, ahogy a magyar jogtipró sem jelöli meg közelebbről, mely jogokat tiporják (vagy akár egyszerre többet is, sajnos az is előfordul)...
