Bupati, Head of Bekasi District Explanation: Saya pernah menerjemahkan laporan tahunan LSM asing di Indonesia, istilah 'bupati' tetap mereka gunakan seperti istilah Indonesianya walaupun laporan tersebut ditulis dalam bahasa Inggris. Mungkin karena memang tidak ada padanan langsung Inggrisnya. Dan untuk istilah 'kabupaten' mereka menggunakan 'district.' Sebagai salah satu alternatif. Semoga bermanfaat. |
