Asker: Dear Hipyan, I think the English term for this would be 'seminar' or 'retreat', in which people are 'locked up' together until they come up with a solution. By the way, I first studied bahasa Indonesia at IKIP, now UN, Padang and maintain a close relationship with my homestay family there, the family of Ardipal, who is a dosen in FKBS, UN Padang.
