Rp. 3,136,035.64 Explanation: It's decimal value. Since the number is from PPN (VAT), a percentage, I think it's normal -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2011-05-06 06:30:05 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I mean the numbers are from PPN which is 10% I think. So somewhere they must have this 64 rupiah value and due to the 10% tax, the number resulted is 0.64 rupiah. Why would bother? Not sure. Need to check with the writer. :) |

Rp 3,136,035.64 million Explanation: I found a figure of PPN (VAT) for tobacco products in 2007 amounting of Rp2.60 trillion. You quoted the figure in 2009 of Rp3,136,035.64. It must make sense when the word "million" is added. I presume this word missed in printing/typing. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 3 hrs (2011-05-06 08:13:24 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- The sentence you quoted should be read as the following: Berdasarkan data APBD Kabupaten Kudus 2010, penerimaan PPN hasil tembakau (dalam jutaan), pada tahun 2009 sebesar Rp 3.136.035,64, tahun 2008 sebesar Rp 2.972.805,83, dan tahun 2007 sebesar Rp 2.597.301,74." -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 3 hrs (2011-05-06 08:14:39 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I agree with you, Cathy. |

IDR3,136,035,64 Explanation: I assume that it is a typo, a redundancy as Rp is, I am sure you already know, a short for rupiah. CMMIW -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 5 hrs (2011-05-06 10:30:31 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I stand corrected. It is not a redundancy, I read this question from my BB device and I thought there were two "rupiahs" (Rp....rupiah). Maybe you can ask directly to your client to get correct information on these figures. It may be Rp3,136,035.64 (64 cents, but it is not possible in IDR currency, unless this is taken from the relevant company's general ledger.(I consulted my accountant friend about this.) I found this when googling http://priyohari.files.wordpress.com/2009/11/calk_yus_gaby.p... The amount is likely to reach trillions or at least billions. Is it possible that you can leave the figure as is? |
