De term spurgo komt enkele malen voor in de tekst. De ene keer in de zin: "Collegamento circuito acqua e spurgo", daarna is er een 'dispositivo di spurgo' en een 'valvola di spurgo'. Misschien dat dispositivo en valvola wel hetzelfde object beschrijven. Vdale geeft als vertaling ontstoppen of reinigen, maar ik weet niet of het in deze context past.

He net Eurodicautom geraadpleegd en het volgende gevonden:

spurgo= ontluchtingsopening, spoelinlaat, doorspoelinrichting, ontluchting

periodo di spurgo = spoelfase

Daarom, in jou text zal "spurgo" , naar mijn mening, op verschillende manieren moeten worden vertaald, aanvankelijk van de context: van "ontluchting", "afvoer", "spoel(ing)en" enz. worden vertaald.

En dat was niet alles:
Voor "valvola di spurgo" kent Eurodicautom de volgende varianten:
- klep op de afvoerslang
- ontluchtingsklep
- aftapkraan
- losklep
- spuiklep
- aflaatklep
- aftapafsluiter, en
- afblaasafsluiter.

Zo zie je maar! Een paar dagen was Eurodicautom uit de lucht en de kwaliteit van de suggesties daalde onder de vriespunt! Mijn excuus hiervoor.
