peer agreement (net): +1Just about the whereabouts Explanation: La Madonna del Pannolino di Bernardino Luini di proprietà dell'Opera Pia Sabbadini, ora in deposito al Museo Diocesano d'Arte sacra di Udine E' familiarmente denominata la Madonna del pannolino, per via del panno che un angioletto sta stendendo sul ripiano ove la Madonna si accinge a deporre il Bambino. Malgrado i non felici ritocchi apportati da Arturo Collavini, pittore restauratore e copista, si presenta come lavoro di considerevole livello qualitativo, piacevole sia nella composizione giocata sul rapporto tra primi e secondi piani, sia nella trattazione delle singole figure dai volti dolci e dalle espressioni intense, sia nel delicati passaggi chiaroscurali. E' la replica di un dipinto su tavola di Bernardino Luini che si conserva al Louvre sotto il titolo de Il sonno del Bambino Gesù e che viene generalmente datato agli anni che seguono l'impegnativo ciclo d'affreschi del Santuario della Beata Vergine dei Miracoli a Saronno eseguito nel 1525. Il quadro di Parigi, che faceva parte delle collezioni reali di Luigi XIV, il Re Sole, è servito da modello per una copia conservata nella Cappella della Madonna di Loreto a Chiusa di Bressanone (Klausen), che la Ottino Dalla Chiesa giudica "diligente ma tarda, sporca, consunta e corrosa profondamente lungo tutto il perimetro".
