I decided to go for this one given the context (an article in a Funeral Director's magazine) i.e. the funeral/deceased part is implied. Thanks to everyone for their help.

funeral esthetics (or "aesthetics")

Explanation:
Here is a citation:

http://heavenlydoor.com/main/news/con_25.cfm

“THE CASKET:

It is important to remember that the casket is the last material gift the survivor can give the body which once was a beloved person. It can add greatly to the esthetics of the funeral setting and to the repose of the body.”

attenzione !

Explanation:
beautician/cosmetician n 1: someone who sells or applies cosmetics 2: someone who works in a beauty parlor

saluti a tutti
