attenzione ! Explanation: per ora non mi viene niente. il Webster dice che 'esthetics" e' la fisolofia che si occupa del bello, e niente altro. La persona che si occupa di cosmetica e' beautician/cosmetician n 1: someone who sells or applies cosmetics 2: someone who works in a beauty parlor E' chiaro che in italiano la radice greca viene utilizzata per "esaltare" questa professione, per rendere il riferimento ai morti meno trasparente... saluti a tutti Paola L M p.s. Per farvi divertire, ricordo il primo romanzo da me tradotto in cui l'autore prendeva in giro queste pratiche dicendo "al funerale di mia nonna, mio padre portava un completo verde scuro, mia madre un vestito nero, e mia nonna tanto cerone e una bara di pino bianco..." |
