About 2 plays by actor, director and playwright Fabrice Murgia.

I'm not sure I understand how the phrase in the object box connects with and relates to what goes before.

Thanks,

who was to (eventually) become the director
Explanation:
This is how I see it. And I would use "perspective" or "observations" to convey "punto di vista". I think that "sull’attualità" suggests the real events that he lived through, or viewed as he was growing up.

"...a perspective on life seen through (the eyes of) a young boy who was to (eventually) become the director."
or
"...the observations of life from a young boy, who was to eventually become the director."
