Italian term or phrase: al fluire del segno delle liriche incisioni
I need help here. Does anybody know what this means? Here's the whole sentence: "Il percorso artistico di XXX YYY si configura con una ricerca espressiva essenzialmente figurativa, che unisce l’energia del colore dei dipinti alle sculture in bronzo e pietra, al fluire del segno delle liriche incisioni."

English translation:to the flowing stroke of the harmonious engravings
Explanation:
It is a bit too artistic for me, but I believe something along the lines of the "flowing stroke/marks of the harmonious/lyrical engravings/incisions" would work here (depending on the feel of the overall text, and your discretion).

If "harmonious" or "lyrical" both sound odd, I would even just use "smooth".

Sorry for all the options! Hopefully one of them works!

Then..

Explanation:
it means that the artist combines (pardon my English) the energy of colours, stone and bronze sculptures and "beautiful" (liriche) engravings.
"Al fluire del segno" conveys the idea that the lines of his engravings are fluid, soft.
"Liriche" refers to high artistic expression.
I don't know if I have helped...?

neutral  Lara Barnett: The style works IMO, but the collocations do not (i.e. "flowing stroke" is sort of OK, but "harmonious engravings" sounds really odd.
