the assertiveness of its composition Explanation: I think that the term 'boldness' here might have the wrong connotations in the context of describing art, as bold can also refer to the colours (which would indicate that they are bright or vivid) or lines (indicating they are thick or strong) that make up this composition, whereas it seems from the excerpt that the term 'sicurezza' refers more to the strong, confidently executed composition itself as a whole, and here I think the terms 'assertiveness' or 'assuredness' encapsulates this notion more clearly. |
