Italian term or phrase: sensibilità desonorizzata

I am struggling with the part in asterisks. Lots of reference to sound and music in the text preceding and following the term itself, but I'm a bit stumped as to what they mean here.

"Bianchi" is a series of works by the artist, Nuvolo (Giorgio Ascani).

soundless sensibility

Explanation:
Of course the normal translation for "sensibilità" is "sensitivity" but not for Jane Austen fans and it seems to fit this "poetic" context. Unfortunately sticking "poetic" in the middle ruins the alliteration unless you rearrange it a bit "poetic and soundless sensibility".
Of course what gets me is the way the Italian art critics try to outshine the artist with the erudition and poetry of their criticism.
