I've seen "bolla lavoro" translated as "worksheet", but I can't see how a worksheet would incorporate a "file". Can anyone help?

"Bolla lavoro" or "Bolla di lavoro/lavorazione" is the internal order issued in a company for manufacture/picking of goods to fulfil a sales order (ordine). There are lots of sample forms online (see the first link below), which always require each "bolla" to be linked to a sales order.

I think the "work sheet" confusion may have arisen from instances where "sheet" replaces "order" (in referring to the actual interactive form/window). In others words, it's a "work sheet", not a "worksheet"!
