Italian term or phrase: ciocca a spazzolino
This appears in a document about different hair care products, aimed at hair salons. Among the products is a colour chart with colour swatches. I know some of the swatches on the chart are "ring swatches" but, despite my best efforts, I cannot find a suitable technical term for the "ciocca a spazzolino" (brush-tip swatch) - it's definitely not called that in English. Is there a specific name for this type of swatch (straight as opposed to ring-shaped)?

I'm wondering whether this type of swatch should just be left as "swatch"? But I'd like to know if there is a solution to this conundrum.

I've added a reference to the type of swatch below:

https://fashioncolor.eu/products/cartella-colore-parrucchier...

I also found a reference to "pivot point" swatches, which seem to be the straight type, however, "pivot point" is a brand name and I can't be sure the swatches used are from this brand.

Please note, link above is a reference only and isn't the client, for the purposes of confidentiality.

Many thanks!

The wording may need tweaking a bit, but I would think of those as tufts.

Many thanks to all again for your answers. I could also have gone with brush-tip swatch and perhaps had more confidence in my own suggestion. However, there is something about this term that is not quite technical, if descriptively correct, and I know the hairdressing industry tends to favour the use of more technical terms. Tuft swatch just seemed the more likely option to me in this regard.

brush-tip swatch

Explanation:
Or brush-shaped.
As your picture shows, they look like brush tips. And as long as the term is accompanied by a picture, people will immediately understand what you're talking about. It doesn't matter that you haven't found any Google hits for the phrase.
