Comfortable just sounds wrong to me, even though it appears in many cosmetic descriptions online. Does anyone have any better suggestions?

Especially in cases like this, where clearly the original author was a little lazy, using the same term for several different possible meanings. i would say you will need to find some synonyms and use your good judgement.

As I feel it's all about the texture of the product, here are my choices:

Fluido idratante ultra confortevole...
Ultra comfort hydrating fluid
(sounds like a product headline or description and I think comfort sounds good with ultra...maybe I've heard that together in cosmetics before)

melts into a velvety oil...

crema corpo dalla texture morbida e confortevole...

(Soft and silky sounds like an appealing texture to put on your skin)

I'd be tempted to stray a little from the original here and translate using a combination of 'sumptuous' and 'luxurious'. It might not be exactly what the Italian says but it's what it's trying to say, right?!
