Italian term or phrase: Tirare a far sera
The translation is about different types of workers at a translation agency (specifically freelance translators): willing workers, listless workers, and chronic listless workers. I don't understand what this particular expression ("tirano a far sera") means in this context regarding the class of listless workers. Additionally, my friend in Veneto, Italy, says he has never heard this expression and has no idea how to translate it to English. The section I am referring to is as follows:

"Gli svogliati sono essenzialmente dei "morti viventi". Tirano a far sera, investendo tempo nel proprio lavoro, ma non energia né passione."
