Italian term or phrase: Fenomeno di enorme portata
Il mercato di lavoro di tutte le società mondiali è stato influenzato da un fenomeno di enorme portata: la globalizzazione.

Massive sea change
Explanation:
This term is idiomatic and can be found in English-language business publications like Bloomberg Businessweek. It both adds “colour” to sentences and is far shorter than more literal translations. It implies that conditions for all “ships” navigating a certain “sea” (metaphorical, obviously) have changed in a way that obliges those “ships” to change the way they sail.

(Restructure sentence).....has had a phenomenal impact on

Explanation:
I would say::
"Globalisation has had a phenomenon impact on...etc"

...... And turn the sentence around. To me this sounds more English and avoids any clumsy phrasing that can happen through literal translations.
