Italian term or phrase: Responsabile delegato
Any ideas on how best to translate "Responsabile delegato" as the title of the leader of a work group in the context of an architectural/planning project. Sorry, I just have a list of names, no other context I'm afraid. Thanks.

Team leader
Explanation:
As it is for a work group and does not mean the managing director or CEO of a whole company I would suggest Team leader.

agree  toasty: I think this sounds more like what the asker described. An executive would be upper management, usually managing the team leaders, not the group itself.
