Italian term or phrase: declinazione concept
I know what this means as the client told me explicitly:

"declinazioni concept significa che quel concept che il cliente sceglierà, verrà declinato sui social in vari formati (ad es. format post, formato stories, banner, etc)"

Just not sure how to render it in English :/

It's related to social media marketing of a specific brand.

Is "variation" or "listing" a more correct translation of "declinazione" here?

Thanks for the help!

content creation
Explanation:
From what I gather the buzzword in social media marketing is "content", which may be a neat translation of concept in your context, content being the concept in action or the application of the concept in a format that can be consumed by social media users.

As for declinazione, not unlike the much (ab)used French (se) décliner, there is no single term in English, the translation will depend on the context, but roughly it means the various aspects or forms of something.

So "content creation" is the development of a concept in formats tailored to different social media types, channels and audiences.

Two links to start off with, I'll see what else I can find on the InterWeb.

Thank you everyone for all your help. I think "content" is a good translation of what is meant by "concept" in ITA, but with "adaption" as this seems to be what is meant by "declinazione".

as so often, the high level of abstraction widens the gap between words and actual meaning

Asker: Would you mind explaining what these means exactly? And if you have any sources to show it is used in the same way as "declinazione concept"

Explanation:
See the additional context in the discussion box.

I think "concept" is a bit too vague here.

declinare
5. Manifestare, dichiarare: d. il proprio nome, farsi conoscere, rivelare i propri dati anagrafici; nell’uso burocr., d. le proprie generalità, dichiararle di fronte a un pubblico ufficiale. Anche in questa accezione, l’uso del verbo ricalca il fr. décliner.

"Media mix", as I suggested, would also work.

Notes to answerer
Asker: perhaps "define media mix"?

Asker: I'm not 100% sure about media mix, because this is about defining a strategy within just ONE type of media (social media), not a "mix" of media

concept declination

Explanation:
The concept in marketing is a concise description of the idea of a new product, a communication project, an advertising campaign.
Declination also means lowering or decrease.
