mandibulare mascellare

English translation: maxillary molar

Medical: Dentistry

I'm confused by "mandibolare mascellare" here. Surely it should only be mascellare, since we are talking about wear on a mandibular (lower) molar due to possible occlusion with an upper, and therefore "mascellare" tooth (which is missing).

Dentistry is not my thing so I may have got the wrong end of the stick altogether...

thanks Fiona and Carla too. I put maxillar molar with a note suggesting a probable typo.
