Italian term or phrase: in talismo
The word occurs in a doctor's report dealing with a patient who has sustained an injury to the leg and foot. The sentence in which it occurs is the following "Sfumato impaccio in talismo."

I have found the following reference describing the condition in a medical dictionary https://www.corriere.it/salute/dizionario/talismo/index.shtm... but wonder what the English term for it would be.

I'm not sure that I would always trust medical translations from the Reverso dictionary (which I often use for regular, non-technical terms). Here's a definition of talismo from treccani; I think it's more precise and applicable here.

When I saw the word 'talismo' I thought I saw the word 'talus' hiding there, which it is. So this has something to do with walking on the heel rather than the sole of the foot; unfortunately I can't think of a fitting expression in English.
