Other / Trade fair organization
Italian term or phrase: in presenza
This is very much a post-Covid question! I'm translating a press release for a trade fair that was transformed into a series of on-line meetings during the Covid pandemic and is now publicizing a "real" event to be organized in November. The phrase in Italian reads: "Un evento in presenza per far incontrare professionisti, imprese e istituzioni...". A literal translation sounds really strange to me, as does the exact opposite of on-line, which I suppose would be off-line. Can anyone help with the English post-Covid equivalent? Many thanks.

Explanation:

• There are many pursued objectives when organizing an event, as well as several options to carry it out. In the past, there was only one possibility: face-to-face meetings

I had to translate some Covid-19 guidelines for University courses and this is the expression I used.

• A must attend face-to-face event for exhibition and event industry professionals!

Explanation:
Live events as alternative to 'face-to-face' which might not necessarily mean 'online' and are very common: https://www.independent.com.mt/articles/2020-08-03/blogs-opi... Example: We will be holding a live event for this.
