internal surface Explanation: I tried to picture this in my mind. This is what I think is closest; they are referring to the surface of a cylinder facing its center (longitudinal axis). -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 5 days (2015-04-29 11:12:29 GMT) Post-grading -------------------------------------------------- Hi, I think "sense" may be ambiguous. Certainly "inner sense" or "internal sense" will be confusing. IMHO I would leave it in the Mech. Engineering solid body lingo. |
