Slang / Warning: Question perhaps of a sexual nature
Italian term or phrase: deciando
I am working to translate some dialogue, and have come across the following phrase: "...quando ti stavi deciando a me così bene."

Given the context, I believe the term "deciando" may be of a sexual nature, but I can't find any Italian verbs resembling it. Please excuse me if this ends up being something offensive!

Explanation:
My guess is that it's "dedicando". Look "deciare" up in pages in Italian. You'll come up with passages where the context makes it clear the verb actually was "deviare" - or, commonly, "dedicare". It happens even with "deciando".

agree  BdiL: Sono d'accordo e, mancando il contesto, di per sé non vi è nulla di osceno... però penso anche che chi si dedicava non lo faceva né con un rammendo, né aggiustando un rubinetto, né cucinando una cenetta!! ;-) Maurizio
