English translation: covert cloth/twill

Italian to English translations [PRO]
Textiles / Clothing / Fashion / a type of fabric
Italian term or phrase: cover
Questo tessuto appartiene alla famiglia dei ***cover***. È un tintofilo con contrasto in diagonale su base pronta per tinta.
Found a definition for 'cover' in Zignone but it uses the word cover only. Does anyone know if it has a different name in English? It looks like twill. The term is in a description of a fabric used to make men's trousers. My searches only turned up fabric used as a cover for an object. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

If not ‘twill’, my suggestion is without translation, simply “cover”:
“Kogin” embroidery was originally a simple contrast of plain thread on a dyed fabric, but from that progressed to diagonal stripes, herringbone patterns, - Twill is a type of textile weave with a pattern of diagonal parallel ribshttps://artsandculture.google.com/exhibit/PwLS55VaVTzcJA

Asker: Thank you, José. Unfortunately, what I need is the name for a specific type of fabric referred to as "cover" in Italian. But not an actual cover or duvet cover.
