A questo proposito il tipo di stimolazioni è fondamentale.
Infatti ognuno ha una sua struttura mentale e viene più coinvolto da certi gesti e toccamenti che da altri.
Si può vedere in tali preferenze una continuazione del bambino, il quale era toccato in una certa maniera dai genitori (e quindi abbiamo in atto delle dinamiche regressive) sia toccamenti naturalmente graditi.

Mi pare che il testo italiano manchi di qualcosa, ma comunque, direi che viene proposta un'alternativa tra "continuazione del bambino" e i "toccamenti naturalmente graditi", coè le preferenze possono dipendere da una o l'altra. Propongo perciò di inserire in francese un soit....soit che renda chiara l'alternanza: soit une continuation de l'enfant.........soit des touchements naturellement agréables.
L'idea di base è questa, poi dovrai vedere tu come rigirare la frase, eventualmente.

Effectivement sia a ici le sens de "aussi bien que" "soit" il manque un sia avant "una continuazione del bambino". Naturalmente ha, credo, qui il senso di "naturale istintivo", e per gradito userei una traduzione più soggettiva visto il contesto.
