Acciai e leghe speciali vengono invece di norma utilizzati nella produzione di mandrini per coperchi Easy Open, dove normalmente il labbro è debole.

Я считаю, что labbro debole в последней инстанции относится к крышкам, а во всех других Ваших цитатах текст написан запутанно, для краткости. Тогда для краткости можно было бы написать:
DEI LABBRI DEI MANDRINI - "края патронов"
mandrini a labbro debole tipo “Easy Open” . а вот здесь уже подробно прописывать с упоминанием крышки, потому что easy open это легковскрываемые крышки
