ちなみに農産物の名前の一覧に載せており文などがありません。
同じ一覧の他の作物はメイズ、オレンジ、カカオ、コーヒー等。

Thanks a lot, Mark. I've checked the source text again and it definitely reads イソチ, but this word doesn't seem to exist and, from the context and your references, it can only be インチ. I'm so glad I asked!

Explanation:
すごく悩んでいましたが、もしかしたら ejote = green beans ではないかとのことです。実際にどの種類の豆か、説明してもらえませんでしたが。今ひとつ発音は違うのですが、何となく、です。

ホンジュラスはあまり農作業ができないそうで、バナナがメインで、後はサトウキビ、コーン、モロコシ(コーンとは別に、茎などを使うそうです)、豆、お米、コーヒーは近年栽培がさかんになったそうです。
