4 | the Oiruka 2 site in Chitose |
|
the Oiruka 2 site in Chitose Explanation: Chitose is a city in Hokkaido. A paper (http://paleoasia.jp/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/Proceedings_N... on archaeology in Hokkaido has the following: "また、恵庭aテフラの上位の層準にあたるオイルカ-2、キウス-7、暁、大空などの遺跡からは様々な細石刃石器群が報告されている。" In this paper, the preceding sentence mentions "柏台-1遺跡", and a paper (http://archpress.lib.sfu.ca/index.php/archpress/catalog/down... refers to this as "the Kashiwadai 1 site" and "Kashiwadai 1", so I believe the correct notation for "オイルカ2" in English would be "the Oiruka 2 site" or simply "Oiruka 2". |
