Therefore I agree with balius on his suggestion to consult with your client. That said, in the case your client is not the Ministry of Defence itself, they might have no clue either how to translate this code in English. Hence this suggestion. In the following URL you can find the list of 発簡記号 in page 48. http://www.clearing.mod.go.jp/kunrei_data/a_fd/2011/az201106... This list is only for the internal bureaus and unfortunately 防管装 is not listed. But if you look at the column C, you can see that they have a simple rule for translating these codes in English, just put it with alphabets. For instance, the code for 経理装備局装備政策課 is 防経装 and its English translation is BOKEISO. If you applied the same rule for 防管装, it must be BOKANSO. |
