History / U.S. military presence in Korea
Japanese term or phrase: 特殊業態婦
I'm currently working on a J>E translation of an article about Korean sex workers that worked on U.S. military bases beginning in the 50s. The word I'm having trouble with is the word in double brackets. My translation of is below that. Through some Wikipedia research I was able to find the exact translations for the other terms listed, but that particular term has eluded me.

米軍基地の村で米軍人との売買春を行う女は米軍慰安婦、基地村の女性、[[特殊業態婦]]、ヤンコンジュ (洋公主) などと呼ばれてきた。政府は慰安婦と[[特殊業態婦]]を混用してきてい る。

The women who worked on the base were called a variety of names, including "comfort women," "camp town girls," [[ ]], or "Yankee Princesses." The South Korean government uses the terms “comfort women” and [[ ]] interchangeably.

If you would like to see more of the article for context, I'd be glad to share it. I have until August 21st to complete this translation, so any suggestions before then would be super helpful! Thanks!

English translation:Special occupation women
Explanation:
"Special occupation/industry" is a long-standing euphemism for prostitution in several East Asian cultures. Not sure if it translates over all that well into modern English, but with the context there should be no confusion.
