According to アメリカ契約法[第2版], it seems that in the United States there is no legal principle or term concerning risk of loss equivalent to 債務者主義. So, I think some explanatory translation will be necessary, such as "Risk-Born-by-Debtor Principle" or something like that.

1 前二条に規定する場合を除き、当事者双方の責めに帰することができない事由によって債務を履行することができなくなったときは、債務者は、反対給付を受ける権利を有しない。

Article 536 (Obligors' Assumption of Risk)
(1) Except in the cases provided for in the preceding two Articles, if the performance of any obligation has become impossible due to reasons not attributable to either party, the obligor shall not have the right to receive performance in return.
