Japanese term or phrase: 甘辛調整
Hi everyone,

I have come across this term in a document concerning a large company's HR evaluation system.
Apparently, it refers to evening out gaps between the evaluations of stricter evaluators and evaluations by more generous ones. Please see the link below:

I can't find a translation for this precise term, and "bias correction" sounds too technical/may not mean the same thing.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

English translation:bias correction
Explanation:
I would stick with "bias correction". It's sounds natural, is self-explanatory and is used in management and HR. I think anything other than "Bias Correction in Employee Evaluations" would sound less natural.

Asker: Haha, that's a funky translation :P However, given the context, it seems a little too informal.

Dealing with statistical dispersion

Explanation:
甘辛調整 of a quantitative data such as a HR evaluation means to deal with the statistical dispersion. The article talks about several ways to measure central tendency. The article also mentions that 甘辛調整 is not dealing with outliers which can lead to errors, but to deal with variance.

I would prefer not to use "bias", as it may be confused as "outliers".

Asker: Thank you. However, I eventually stuck with "bias" as it may be easier to understand for someone who is not familiar with the term you suggested.
