漁網やスポーツネットを製造するときにできる不良のひとつ。ひし形の目の結節する部分の上に小さなわっかが残る事（糸がぎゅっと締め切れてない）
この「ちょうちん目」にあたる英語単語は存在しますか？それとも上記のように説明しないといけないでしょうか？

If directly translated, ちょうちん目 means "lantern mesh". It is a kind of defect when manufacturing nets like fishnets or sports nets. A small loop is left on a knot meaning it's not tighten completely.
