A friend of mine asked me to translate a note that she received. I am studying Mandarin Chinese at university, but I think this is Japanese, therefore I am not able to translate it. Can anyone help? Please find the (slightly unclear) picture in attached link.

English translation:Wilbert
Explanation:
Phonetically, it says Wirubato spelt in the katakana alphabet (ウィルバート) so is probably a non-Japanese name like Wilbert or Wildbad.
