Core Explanation: Core is fine. You can say core sheets, if you like. Core is something that is at the center of an object and does not specify the shape of the object. Since we commonly use core to refer to cylindrical objects, we tend to think that a core must be cylindrical. If you cut open a cylinder so that it becomes a rectangular object, the core remains there and its name does not change, does it? |
