Japanese term or phrase: Soulmate
I have been working on a design for a memorial tattoo to honor my dog that just passed. I am basing it off of a t-shirt design on a t-shirt I have. Here's a url for the design:

http://at-the-beachgallery.com/images/tshirts/soulmate_paw_l...

I've looked up translations for this on the internet and the kanji on the shirt design doesn't seem to match up with any results I've found. It is very important that this tattoo is as perfect as possible and any help would be greatly appreciated.
