Chamberlain Explanation: 1. podkomorzy (Latin: succamerarius) - a chamberlain. In the hierarchy of the court offices second only to marszalek (marshal). Responsible for the safety of the king. During the royal travels and in the war camps, one of the closest associates of the king.
