statutes

Explanation:
In the US, they are called by-laws. in the UK, articles of association. However, according to article 4 of the Law on Companies of the Republic of Lithuania (http://www3.lrs.lt/pls/inter3/dokpaieska.showdoc_l?p_id=2334... istatai should be translated as statutes for Lithuanian companies.

(Company) Regulations

Bent jau taip verčia britai ir tokį terminą vartoja daug teisininkų. Seniau, prie kokią "desetką" metų, Lietuvoje "įstatus" dar versdavo "By-Laws".

P.S. "Articles of Incorporation/Association" šiaip jau yra "steigimo aktas" (tai NE "įstatai")

statutes

Explanation:
Looking at the definition of by-laws on the internet, it would seem I misspoke about their meaning and they refer to a lower level company document. The internet is a fantastic tool.

Sorry, Marius, but according to article 7 of the Law on Companies, 'steigimo aktas/sutartis' is translated 'instrument of incorporation'. Easy enough to confuse 'instrument' with 'articles'. I Believe the usual UK term is 'memorandum of association' for multiple shareholder companies. I think the Lithuanian law uses 'instrument' so that the same term is used for both single and multiple shareholder companies.

As to http://www.anguillafsc.com/PDF/Legislation/CoRegs.pdf, this is secondary legislation for the country of Anguilla in the Caribbean. And they use 'articles of incorporation' to translate 'istatai'.
