Førromersk jernalder fremstod som en nedgangsperiode. Flateavdekkingsmetoden i forvaltningsgravninger endret dette.
I think it has to do with excavations that have to be carried out before new roads or buildings are built.

Asker: I have found the term elsewhere. A Norwegian archaeologist told me that they use the term "rescue excavation" for "forvaltningsgravning".
