objects tell their stories Explanation: Not very much different from the other suggestions. I have used this once or twice. Alternatively: objects that tell their stories/objects tell stories. The term is the title of a book by Professor Anders Johansen (+ed.) Innspill til museologi. There is a debate going on in the museum "business" about they way museum objects are displayed and communicated. How much of the object's story can we perceive by merely looking at it, and how much information/additonal information is needed? I haven't read the book, but A.Johansen is one of the leading media professors in this field. |
