Norwegian term or phrase: mappingen
In "om de nødvendige referansefeltene er på plass i “mappingen” som er lagt inn i det avtalte grensesnittet." I've checked for "mapping" and "interface" on Google with no success. I know that "mappe" refers to a folder, but surely not "mapping" and "interface" here?
TIA
Andy

Explanation:
Sounds like mapping of e.g. fields and set values to me, and nothing to do with folders.

agree  Richard Lawson: "Mapping" is an English word - nothing to do with "mapper". Norwegians have a habit of using English words instead of their own perfectly good Norwegian words.

-> We do indeed - but in this particular case, the possible Norwegian word (kartlegging) was rather less than perfectly good. I might well have used mapping myself....:-)
