party area Explanation: You could always generalise it so as to remove the idea of 'dancing'. I agree that a 'dancefloor' on a yacht sounds a bit ambitious! A 'party area' needn't be very big, and those who want to dance in a 2 square metre area are welcome to if they want :-) |

spacious area Explanation: I agree that danseplass has little to do with dancing. It also has little to do with partying, and just means that 'if you wanted to have a dance, this could be a place to have it'. You could describe an office area in these terms. So spacious area may be 2013's most boring translation. So be it. |
