4 | fly operator |

fly operator Explanation: The battens, or fly bars, are the bars from which lighting and scenery are hung. During both the setting-up of a production/concert etc. and during the perfomance itself, elements of scenery, lighting and props, not to mention the performers themselves, are flown in and out. The person doing this is the fly operator. A fly operator should hold a special license. However, he or she is often also stage crew/stagehand or, in the more PC theatres, a stage technician. http://tinyurl.com/haysf http://tinyurl.com/f6pxp http://tinyurl.com/jumdj http://tinyurl.com/jjoav http://tinyurl.com/elh7c -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 58 mins (2006-09-13 00:34:38 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Laurencja, thank you but it's nothing so special.
