Explanation:
Hmm, perhaps we're looking at the system for drug delivery here? Have a look at this:

Compactable self-sealing drug delivery agents
Document Type and Number: United States Patent 5766623

Abstract:
Active agents comprising coated pellets which self seal if they are damaged are described. More specifically, an active agent, or bead coated with an active agent, is coated with a rate-release controlling polymer and a hydrophilic gel-forming material which forms a gel upon hydration. If the bead is compressed into a solid compact which damages the polymer coating, the hydrophilic substance gels upon exposure to an aqueous environment. The gel provides sufficient sealing of the damaged area in the polymer so that a useful control of drug release is retained in spite of the damage to the polymer. The pellets of the invention exhibit improved flow and compactability. The compacts can be formulated to disintegrate in the gastrointestinal tract, and also may result in either controlled release or immediate release of the active agent.

Thanks for yout effort & expertise that is most appreciated.
Still, I think that, depending on context, both terms are suitable, i.e. "drug displacing agent" and "drug delivery agent" as English equivalent of "czynnik wypieriający lek",

anxiolytic component

Explanation:
leki tego typu są "anxiolytics". ale sam czynnik jest anxiolytic component

I see what you mean....then it is more likely the extended release component of the drug.http://www.freepatentsonline.com/20020172694.html

Example sentence(s):
  • The anxiolytic component in that medication has sedative effects.

drug displacing agent

Explanation:
More context would really be required, but there are certainly studies of drug displacement interactions and their kinetics, as per the reference below.

I've come up with a better solution and have posted a new answer.

Example sentence(s):
  • Methods of moderating drug displacement by adjusting the rate and the timing of administration of the displacing agent are discussed.

Asker: Wolałbym mieć uzasadnienie, że to naprawdę jest termin używany przez specjalistów. Bez tej pewności ni wprowadzałbum do "KudoZ glossary", z którego sam korzystam.
